Description:

This position requires an outgoing student with great communication, the ability to multitask, and problem solve.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the Health and Wellness Instagram account
  • Create health and wellness related content for Instagram in the form of posts, stories, and reels and post with consistency
  • Repost relevant campus partner content on Instagram stories
  • Track post insights/Instagram engagement numbers daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Manage Instagram giveaways
  • Manage our Instagram Linktree with updated links
  • Implement trainings/presentations/programs promoting a culture of wellness to students, faculty, and staff; collaborate with other campus departments as needed.
  • Assist in running Health and Wellness programming events such as:
  • Suicide Prevention Week
  • Substance Misuse Programming
  • Domestic Violence Awareness Week/Sexual Assault Awareness Week and more
  • Greet and assist students in locating the proper campus and community resources to address any health and wellness concerns including: mental health, physical health, substance abuse, stress management and others.
  • Perform other office tasks such as:
  • Connect students to campus resources
  • Manage self care station, snacks and wellness room bookings
  • Helping with other daily tasks
  • Work up to a combined total of 250 hours throughout Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.

MUST BE WORK STUDY ELIGIBLE TO BE CONSIDERED

Qualifications:

  • Must have social media experience (outside of personal use)
  • Ability to work independently, follow-up on assignments, and take initiative
  • Demonstrate ability to assist students on a variety of holistic health and wellness concerns
  • Excellent skills in facilitation, education, and communication
  • Interest in health and wellness
  • Responsible and timely

Must be work study eligible
